Some of us have been playing online at 9pm on Mondays. It has been a blast to “see” some familiar faces online and play 1v1. It is a nice change from our monthly Overlord events. If you’re interested in playing make sure you’ve added your name to the friends list and added everyone to your online list. We also found using Skype for voice chat to be very effective, so think about signing up for that too.
Tonight, Kris Arthur and I played a few scenarios. Twin Villages was a marathon as my Germans creeping through the forrest really extended the turns and the game. The Germans really have to be patient if they want a chance at this one. I think the dice were in my favor too.
After an aborted attempt at Expert Mode (it really needs more documentation), we tried our hand at Escape Via the Coastal Road. I tried the British side first and tried to make a hasty retreat along the open exit marker. Big mistake! Kris’ armor rolled over my depleted units.
The next game was very close as we tried the same scenario but switched sides. It could have gone either way, but I ended up winning 6-5.
We hope we’ll see you online soon too!
